Adoption Process & Waitlist
1. Fully‑Refundable Deposit
To join our waiting list, a 500 CAD deposit is required. This deposit is fully refundable at any time before you choose your kitten.
2. Tell Us Your Preferences
After submitting the deposit, please complete our Adoption Form, where you can share:

How open‑minded you are regarding color, pattern, gender, or personality...
3. Kitten Selection Process
When kittens reach around 3–3.5 months old, they will have their professional photos taken. We will then send these photos — along with descriptions — to families on the waiting list in the order they joined.
You may choose your kitten based on the photos, descriptions, and temperament notes. If you would like additional confirmation, we can also arrange a video call. For families located in Ottawa, or those willing to visit our cattery, we are happy to schedule an in‑person appointment as well.
4. Reserving Your Kitten
If you choose a kitten, your initial 500 CAD deposit will be applied toward your final adoption payment.
5. Not Ready Yet? No Problem
If none of the available kittens feel like the right match, you simply keep your place and move up for the next litter.
Note: YimeowDoll reserves the right to refuse any adoption at any stage. If a match is deemed unsuitable, a full refund will be issued.
Our Ethical Care Policy for Ragdoll Adoptions
ABSOLUTELY NO DECLAWING!
Declawing is the amputation of the last bone in each toe. It leads to long-term pain, infections, and permanent physical issues.
INDOOR-ONLY CATS!
Ragdolls must be kept indoors for their safety. Outdoor risks include traffic, disease, theft, and predator attacks.
